Brief Description :
A Sambalpuri dupatta is a traditional handwoven ikat dupatta wherein the warp and the weft are tie-dyed before weaving. Sambalpuri dupattas are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs like shankha (shell), chakra (wheel), phula (flower) but the highpoint  of  these dupatta is the traditional craftsmanship of the 'Bandhakala'. Blue and red colour sambalpuri handwoven cotton dupatta designed with flower motifs on the body, rudraksha dobby motifs on border and flower motifs on bottom part of dupatta.
